Best Paper Award at the 5th International Summit on
BeiDou Navigation Satellite System Applications.
On September 15, 2026, our work,
"Toward Lunar Satellite Navigation: System Design and Key Technologies",
received a Best Paper Award at the
5th International Summit on BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS)
Applications, held in Zhuzhou, Hunan, China.
The summit received 143 paper submissions, and following multiple rounds
of review, 10 papers were selected for the Best Paper Award.
As lunar exploration moves toward sustained and large-scale operations,
reliable positioning, navigation, and timing services will become an
increasingly important part of future lunar infrastructure. Our work
explores the design of a satellite-based lunar navigation system and
the key technologies required to support such services.

Deep Space and Lunar Navigation Technologies session.
Jianzhe Lei presented the work on September 16 in the
Deep Space and Lunar Navigation Technologies session,
introducing the system architecture and the major technical considerations
involved in providing navigation services for future lunar missions.
Congratulations to Jianzhe and all collaborators!
